 In 1958 my father, A.D. "Son" Cody, bought two Century Sprayers with 20 ft. booms and began spraying weeds in Coal County, Oklahoma. The sprayers (pictured above) cost $250 each and with labor, fuel, and chemical, weeds could be sprayed for about $1.20/acre. I began my tractor driving career that summer on a 2 cylinder John Deere and one of those sprayers. I have been spraying ever since and we here at Heavybilt are still obtaining knowledge and understanding of what works best. The rugged design of our sprayers comes directly from years of field experience. Heavybilt is a small company that strives to manufacture products that are functional and durable. | HEAVYBILT sprayers are available in six models (225, 325, 525, 335LP, 535LP, & 750LP gallons) and are built with heavy C-Channel frames and poly tanks. The Step Side feature is convenient and helps prevent spillage when adding or mixing chemicals. Honda or Blue Max engines are available on all engine drive pumps. Other features include PTO & engine drive pumps, booms, and broadcast nozzles. Being equipped with a rubber torsion axle gives longer life to the sprayer unit by greatly reducing jolting & bouncing and absorbing punishment from rough pastures. | |
